Sales and marketing professional and top business leader Jamie Talbot of Skyline Marketing, was nominated for an outstanding award at this year’s awards gala.
At the weekend (Saturday 21st May), the outsourced sales and marketing industry hosted their annual awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane. This year’s black tie event consisted of a champagne reception in the Ballroom Foyer at 6pm for networking opportunities and was followed by a prestigious awards ceremony, speeches, dinner and entertainment in the Ballroom until midnight.
The gala was a celebration of the success within the direct marketing and sales industry. It is the most prestigious event in the industry’s UK calendar, and past events have seen first class entertainment, speeches, prizes and awards. The annual gala has become an iconic celebration of the industry’s collective achievements. The event saw a number of top independent sales company leaders chosen as keynote speakers to share their advice as well as to present the awards to celebrated individuals for their business achievements throughout 2015. The event was very prestigious (invitation only!) and organised for the best business owners and their partners in the industry.
Managing Director of sales and event marketing firm, Skyline Marketing, Jamie Talbot was nominated for the ‘Most Improved Owner of the Year’ award. Other awards included ‘Business Owner of the Year’, ‘Business Partner of the Year’, ‘Rookie Owner of the Year’, ‘Top sales company’ and ‘Top performance’.
This nomination was a fantastic achievement for the entrepreneur and business owner, since there were lots of other well deserving nominees up for the award. The main reason that Jamie Talbot was nominated for most improved business owner was because of his commitment to overcoming obstacles to improve and come out on top. The business owner has worked hard over the past year to do this, and now is looking to move his business forward with expansion plans in place for the very near future.
