Managing Director of Skyline Marketing, Jamie Talbot, travelled to Portugal on 22nd October, 2013 to spend the week networking with a number of contacts he met at the Lisbon sales conference in August. Jamie Talbot confirms the event was an important networking opportunity for business owners from all over Europe.

Jamie Talbot is a renowned entrepreneur and business owner in the UK market. As a young up and coming businessman, Jamie Talbot has only just begun his path of educating entrepreneurship within the younger generations.

Jamie Talbot established his first business in 2011 shortly after graduating from Lancaster University with a First Class degree. Skyline Marketing has excelled in the outsourced sales and marketing industry. Since its conception Skyline Marketing has gone from strength to strength; seeing off fierce competition from other companies within the industry to provide a first class customer acquisition service for the firm’s clients. This is why Managing Director Jamie Talbot is regularly invited to speak at many conferences all throughout Europe including the Spanish Sales event, which took place on the weekend of 11th-13th October 2013.

Jamie Talbot is travelling between Lisbon, Oporto & Faro to meet with business owners from six companies. Business networking is the process of forming a positive and equal relationship with other business people and potential clients and/or customers. Within the sales and marketing industry, promoting a business to the right people can be largely beneficial to its development, and face to face interaction allows this to happen on a personal level.

Skyline Marketing Managing Director, Jamie Talbot believes in the benefits that networking can bring to a business. The best business networking groups operate as exchanges of business information, ideas and support.  The firm believe that the most important skill for effective business networking is listening; focussing on the ways a person can be helped is the first step to effective networking. ‘Gaining insight to the way other small businesses are run is an amazing opportunity. The event I attended earlier this year opened up so many doors to successful sales companies in Europe. I expect this week in Portugal to spark some exciting ideas for the Skyline marketing brand,’ says Jamie Talbot.

Skyline Marketing is an outsourced sales and marketing firm based in Birmingham.
